Salvation

In the Sea of Galilea, where Jesus walked on water... fed the 5,000 ... and ... Calmed the Storm!

"Jesus came to set us free from the sin in our life that threatens our eternal life in Heaven.  Without the gift of God's eternal life, we are condemned to eternity in Hell!  ALL sin leads to death, without asking God for forgiveness, we stand condemned already! There is nothing you or I can do to gain entry into heaven. Our sin can only be removed by accepting Jesus as the Messiah... Our Savior... The One who saves His people from their sins.  We must acknowledge our need and ask for forgiveness, and through our faith, we can receive the gift of eternal life! Consider the analogy of the ant..."

"Wish I could be an ant!"

(or... how to live forever & how can I be saved?)

I was playing golf with some friends on a wonderful summer morning. As I hit my third shot, my ball rested neatly on the putting surface of the green.  I walked up to the green and thought my chances to 'one putt' for par were pretty good.  Finally on the green, I began to study the line for my putt.
I couldn't believe what I saw!

There, between the cup and my ball was a small growing mound of busy little ants.  There was no way I could putt to the hole without my ball rolling over the little ant hill and shooting off to one side or the other, messing up my shot!

What could I do?

I thought for a moment about stepping on them and finishing them off right there, but that seemed cruel.  I could get a stick and try to push them off the green, but certainly they would also die in the process.  If only I could talk with them and tell them the danger they were in, certainly I could convince them to move to a safer place, thus saving themselves from their pending doom.

But there simply was no way to do that, I would have to become an ant, actually one of them to tell them or show them the way to safety.

I can't become an ant! It's impossible!

But not for God.  Jesus was named "Emmanuel" which literally means, God with us!  He came to earth to communicate by word and by example how to save ourselves from eternity in Hell.  Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. Whoever believes in me... will never die!"  And he is talking about living eternity!  With Jesus as our savior, we will never die!

If you are not sure about your where you will spend your eternity, receive the free gift of salvation.  Just use this guide to pray to Jesus...
